​Grants Works and Grants Works Academy were founded by Patrice Davis, a grant professional with 15 years of direct experience. She has successfully managed primary and sub-awards from 20+ local, state, and federal agencies and subagencies. Patrice also served as the fiscal consultant during site monitoring visits of state agency recipients of federal grants.
​She is a member of the National Grant Management Association, the Grant Professionals Association, and the Georgia Grant Professionals Association. Outside of grants, she has many interests. She is the mother of three young adults, host of the Age Has No Limit podcast, and enjoys international travel, foreign films, and international fiction.

​Rachel began her career as a New York City public-school teacher which parlayed into a two-decade career of work in the public sector. She has served as a nonprofit fundraiser/grant writer, grants manager at an education management organization, and management consultant overseeing federal government contracts. Since the beginning of her career, she and her firm have helped secure millions in funding from government, foundation, and corporate sources and managed over $2.5 billion in grant funding.
