To get started with Instrumentl’s Apply, follow these steps to create your first grant proposal draft in minutes.
1. Upload past successful grant applications:
Begin by uploading previous grant proposals that have worked for your organization to your document library. This helps the AI learn your writing style and preferred language.
2. Select which past proposals to use for drafting:
Once uploaded, you can choose which of these past proposals you want the AI to draw from to create your new application.
When you find a good-fit opportunity that you’d like to apply to, you simply click the “Request Application” button under “Funding Opportunity.” When you do that, the Instrumentl team begins working their magic and building that application for you in the system.
Within 1-2 business days, the “Request Application” button will change to “ContinueApplication,” and then you’ll be ready to get started! At this point, you can scroll through the entire application—all within Instrumentl.
3. Generate the First Draft:
Now, you can click on the “Improve Recommendations” button, which will then allow the AI tool to generate the first draft of your new application based on the past applications you’ve uploaded.
4. Review, Finalize, and Submit:
Within the AI tool, you can download the draft proposal into a Word document for easier review.
